Agenda:

  • Project commitment expectations revisited, apologies and how we’ll manage the coming term.

  • Progress updates on mini-projects – UI, AVL Trees and sorting visualiser.

    • Holiday sprint – we expect these to be done by the end of the holidays.

  • Visualiser integration with UI – needs to be redesigned.

    • Very buggy.

    • A lot of ‘prop drilling’ – it’s hard to find where each parameter comes from.

    • System design-focused.

  • Discuss UI

Notes:

  • Project commitment

    • Dom and Joanna will reach out to team members to make sure everyone is on track.

    • Feel free to leave if you can no longer commit to projects – talk to Dom and Joanna about it.

    • Meetings will happen when needed, and will try to accommodate the most people, rather than everyone. This is to make it fair for the people who are engaged and make time for the project.

    • When you create a plan for when you’ll finish tasks, we’ll remind you on the days you say things will get done. If repeatedly unable to finish the dedicated task on time, it will be delegated to someone else
